Dumars enjoyed an exceptional 14-year career as a player with the Detroit Pistons and was a six-time NBA All-Star.
Inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006, he won NBA titles as a player with the Pistons in 1989 and 1990 before securing another title as their President of Basketball Operations in 2004. He was the MVP when the Pistons won the NBA title in 1989.

It has a client base that includes NBA teams such as the Dallas Mavericks and Atlanta Hawks as well as being the bio-analytics partner to the National Basketball Players Association.
Its experience within the NBA has made Orreco and its team of PhD scientists global leaders in basketball bio-analytics, developing a deep understanding of the relationship between biomarkers, wearable technology and performance analytics.
The company supports and accelerates player recovery and optimises game-time performance as well as managing the so-called “Rookie Wall” and prolonging veteran players careers.
Orreco also works with other elite sports organisations such as US Women’s Soccer, USA Swimming, Red Bull High Performance as well as English Premier League side Newcastle United FC and the Chelsea FC Women’s team.

Mr Dumars was the first recipient of the NBA’s Sportsmanship Award, and the association subsequently named the award after him. As President of Basketball Operations with the Pistons, he was named NBA Executive of the Year in 2003.
