Orreco to Partner with Global Talent Agency Wasserman to Provide Women/Trans/Non-Binary Athletes With its World-Leading Performance Program

Los Angeles CA – (July 1, 2020) – Sports performance and biomarker company Orreco has partnered with global sports agency Wasserman and its womxn’s division,The Collective. The partnership will see Orreco provide its Athlete Consultancy program for womxn to the agency’s industry-leading roster of clients across a range of sports including basketball, golf, skateboarding and track-and-field.

Dr Brian Moore, CEO of Orreco, said: “We are delighted to partner with Wasserman and The Collective. It’s so exciting to work together to advance the science of elite performance for women in sport. Our Fitrwoman and FitrCoach platforms are being deployed to help harness the power of female physiology so the phenomenal Wasserman athletes can perform their best on any given day.”

“No one ever talks about periods, period,” said Wasserman Action Sports Agent Yulin Olliver. “After seeing the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team dominate and win the world cup last summer, then boldly acknowledge the power and insight Orreco offers to maximize performance for womxn by applying science, exercise, recovery and diet insights to menstrual cycles, I knew it was something I wanted to provide to my clients, and the idea expanded from there across The Collective. We strive to give our clients every opportunity to perform at their best, and Orreco is a logical partner in that mission.”

Orreco, a global leader in bio-analytics and performance for elite athletes has a client base that includes NBA teams such as the Dallas Mavericks and Atlanta Hawks as well as being analytics partner to the NBPA.

Orreco is challenging how elite athletes are monitored, protected and supported and will give Wasserman’s athletes and their coaches access to its FitrWoman app and FitrCoach platform. In addition, Orreco will provide the athletes and their coaches detailed individualized reports, action plans and strategies to help manage nutrition, recovery and wellness around the menstrual cycle. The athlete program helps world class athletes train in sync with their menstrual cycle to sustain peak performance at the highest level.
